What the project does
Goa Blood Network brings together voluntary donors, people looking for blood, hospitals, and NGOs on one Goa-focused platform. It helps people find matching blood groups by location, publish time-sensitive requirements, discover donation camps, and request donor contact without placing private phone numbers openly on the internet.

- Contact the treating hospital or blood bank first.
- Search donors by blood group and Goa location.
- Create a blood request with accurate hospital, urgency, unit, and contact details.
- Update the request when matched, fulfilled, or no longer required.
I represent an organization
- Register as a hospital or NGO and verify the organization email.
- Wait for administrator review and approval.
- Hospitals can publish and manage blood requirements.
- Hospitals and NGOs can create camps, manage participants, and export attendance lists.
Understanding the process
1. Register: Choose the account type that accurately describes you.
2. Verify: Enter the OTP sent to your email. Donors and organizations also require admin approval.
3. Coordinate: Search, publish requests, manage camps, or respond to matching needs.
4. Update: Keep availability and request status current so the network remains useful.
How donor privacy works
Public visitors see only limited donor information such as first name, blood group, general Goa location, and availability.
A logged-in requester sends a protected contact request. The donor can accept or decline it. Permitted call or WhatsApp details become available only after acceptance and according to the donor's privacy settings.
Donors can hide their profile, disable contact consent, or mark themselves unavailable at any time.
What account statuses mean
Pending
Waiting for review or approval.
Active / approved
Available for normal platform use.
Matched
A possible donor or arrangement has been found.
Fulfilled
The blood requirement has been completed.
Expired
The request or availability period ended and should be renewed if still needed.
Important safety guidance
- Never make a donation or transfusion decision without qualified medical professionals and an authorized facility.
- Independently verify donors, requests, hospitals, organizations, camps, and phone numbers.
- Never pay an unknown person for blood or share OTPs, passwords, banking details, or identity documents through a contact request.
- Report suspicious, abusive, duplicate, or inaccurate information through the contact page.
