Platform terms of use.
These terms govern your use of Goa Blood Network, a coordination platform for blood donors, seekers, hospitals, NGOs, and donation camps.
Effective: 16 August 2026
1. Network platform only
Goa Blood Network is not a blood bank, hospital, ambulance service, emergency response service, medical service, diagnostic service, or government authority. The platform only helps users share and discover donor, request, hospital, NGO, and blood camp information.
2. No guarantee
We do not guarantee donor availability, response time, identity, health status, eligibility, blood safety, request authenticity, hospital acceptance, camp accuracy, or successful fulfilment of any blood requirement.
3. User verification responsibility
Email verification, administrator approval, contact consent, or an account status does not constitute identity, medical, legal, or institutional verification. Users must independently verify every donor, seeker, hospital, NGO, camp, phone number, request, and medical requirement. All donation and transfusion decisions must be handled by qualified medical professionals and authorized facilities.
4. No accountability or liability
Goa Blood Network, its owners, admins, volunteers, developers, and associated persons accept no accountability or liability for any loss, delay, misinformation, failed coordination, fraud, misuse, medical issue, injury, death, legal dispute, financial loss, emotional distress, or other damage connected to use of this platform.
5. Emergency advice
In an emergency, users should contact hospitals, licensed blood banks, emergency services, and qualified medical professionals first. This platform must not be treated as a replacement for emergency medical systems.
6. User conduct
Users must not submit false or misleading information, impersonate others, misuse contact details, harass donors or seekers, post spam, scrape or systematically collect platform data, bypass privacy controls, send unsolicited promotions, interfere with security, or use the platform for fraud, unlawful commercial exploitation, or unsafe activity.
7. Accounts and security
You are responsible for information submitted through your account, keeping your password and OTPs confidential, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. You must provide a working email address. We may rate-limit or block activity that appears automated, abusive, or unsafe.
8. Requests, contacts, and camps
Blood requests may require approval, may be flagged as duplicates, and may expire automatically. Donor contact details are protected unless the donor accepts a contact request and has enabled contact visibility. Donors may accept or decline without explanation. Camp organizers are responsible for camp information and may access or export participant details solely to administer that camp.
9. Notifications
We may send operational emails, including OTPs, password-reset codes, account decisions, matching blood-request alerts, contact-request updates, and camp decisions. Delivery is not guaranteed, and urgent coordination must not depend solely on an email alert.
10. Account and content control
Admins may approve, reject, suspend, edit, expire, cancel, or delete accounts and submissions where necessary to operate or protect the platform. Availability and requests may expire automatically. Users may edit or cancel supported submissions, but audit and security records may remain where reasonably required.
11. Availability and changes
The service may be modified, interrupted, or discontinued. Features, eligibility rules, and these terms may change. Material updates will be reflected by revising the effective date on this page.
12. Acceptance
By registering, submitting a request, searching donors, posting a camp, or using the website, you confirm that you understand and accept these terms.
